Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s armed conflict ended in 2009. In 2015, Sri Lanka elected a new President, at the head of a multiethnic and multiparty coalition. This president has promised national reconciliation and democratic reform. DAG’s director serves on the board of the Sri Lankan President’s Office of National Unity and Reconciliation. DAG has been supporting his participation in reconciliation efforts.
